PCWC 2015 Financial Assistance
The Prostate Cancer World Congress 2015 Committee in conjunction with Australian Prostate Cancer Research (APCR) are pleased to announce that a limited number of travel grants will be available to provide financial support for qualifying attendees from developing countries.
Australian Prostate Cancer Research is a research organisation that partners with leading institutions to develop, fund and deliver national research programs. APCR provides a broadly-based programme of grants, scholarships, awards, supplies and other forms of aid to individuals and organizations striving to discover the killer cause in prostate cancer, improve patient outcomes and educate people on all aspects of diagnosis, treatment and patient care.
Applicants for travel grants should download the form from the PCWC 2015 website (http://www.prostatecancercongress.org.au/) and should:
- Reside in developing countries or countries in transition
- Have no or insufficient funds from other sources to support their participation
- Present a paper or a poster at the event
Due to the large number of requests and the limited funds available, partial funding may only be available. To support as many applicants as possible, those individuals requesting a minimum amount of support and/or with evidence of support from their organisation will receive higher priority.
Each applicant must specify financial assistance required, by completing the questionnaire and returning this information to the Congress Office no later than 29 March 2015. Written notification of whether you will receive financial assistance, and the amount, will be sent by the Congress Organisers by 30 April 2015.
Financial grants will be given in cash at PCWC 2015.
No payments will be made prior to your attendance at the Congress. This means that all necessary costs to attend the Congress must be paid by you in advance of your attendance, and you will receive your payment at the Congress.
